Inverness via Highlands Folk Museum

A long trip from Edinburgh to Inverness today, broken by a three hour stay at the Highlands Folk Museum. This was Britain's first open air museum and was a lovely way to spend a few hours - particularly as the sun was shining. We walked around and through homes of the people of the Highlands of Scotland from 1700 - 1960s, and enjoyed a stroll along a nature walk too. I'll leave you with photos of today -

Tomorrow we leave early to get a coach, then ferry, to Skara Brae for the day. We won't get back in until about 8pm so a long day ahead, but I am really looking forward to this!
