Imperial War Museum, Harrods and the V&A Museum

We set out early today to visit the Imperial War Museum. We arrived early and wandered through the gardens, seeing a piece of the Berlin Wall on permanent display, and visiting the Tibetan Peace Garden.
We purchased the children's guide book in order to see the highlights and not mistakenly walk into a Holocaust exhibit.

All Australian towns that sent people to fight in wars are listed on the Australian War Memorial in London

A walk from the War Memorial lead us to visit Harrods. We made sure to visit Toy World, the expansive cosmetics department, the food hall and of course the aptly named 'Shoe Heaven' where we browsed Jimmy Choo and Louboutin.

After our sojourn in Harrods, we walked to the Victoria & Albert Museum. We wandered through the Middle Eastern section, the Middle Ages and 20th Century artefacts. We really enjoyed our time here.

A walk from the V&A took us through Egerton Cresent, Egerton Terrace and Egerton Gardens - and of course we took a photo of Egerton Oliver Theodore Barns pointing at an Egerton street sign! A quick look in the window of a real estate agent locally informed us that the properties in this area rent at $6000 a week or full purchase price of 17 million.
