Took "The Original Tour" Hop on Hop off bus tour/s yesterday, which included a river Thames cruise. Our tour guide on board was quite a character - I was sure he moonlighted as a comedian after hours! Was a good way to see the sights and get our bearings. It was election day here too, so we saw the media outside Downing St and the Houses of Parliament. Finished the day with a visit to the British Museum and took a tour of Ancient Egypt with a docent, followed by a viewing of the Rosetta Stone. Home via the Tube.
